Defensive Coordinator Joe LaLone
Coach LaLone is in his 4th year as a coach at Torrey Pines. Previously he was the San Diego Mesa College Defensive Line Coach from 2011-2014, the Poway Varsity Defensive Line Coach from 2014-2019, and the Defensive Coordinator at Westview in 2020. He graduated from Poway High School in 2005, received a Bachelor’s Degree from Kansas Wesleyan University, and a Masters from Ohio University. His football career consists of three years as a varsity starter at Poway High, two years as a starter at San Diego Mesa College, and two years as a starter at Kansas Wesleyan University. During this time he set the Bench/Squat/Overall lifting records at Poway High, was an Honorable Mention All Palomar League, and was All Conference senior year at Kansas Wesleyan. Coach LaLone works as a Health Tech, and enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his wife.

Congratulations to Rueben Johnson, Ansu Perez, Coach Ashby and the Torrey Pines football staff for their win in the Alex Spanos All-Star Classic over the weekend. It was a a great experience culminating in a 34-14 win for the North All-Stars!

College Coaches, come on out for the start of NCC showcase. Top athletes from 6 schools will be there at your request. 8-10am @ RBHS. We will have food provided for you after workout. Info of all the boys will be handed out and a QR code to have digitally.
